The latest Duosonic^® Mini-ITX motherboard was researched and developed by a team of senior electronic engineers. Rigorous modification and testing went into redesigning the PCB board to improve data and signal transmission. Components on the motherboard were carefully selected by our engineers to maximize the performance. The overall system is equipped for flexibility, reliability and simplicity during installation. Most of all, the compact size of the Mini-ITX motherboard is designed for the limited space of modern living rooms and office environments, suitable for individual, and industrial applications. Its competitive price and high efficiency makes it the ideal solution for small businesses and home offices.

The DS915GM-03 measures 170mm x 170mm, and utilizes the Embedded Notebook Intel^® 915GM Express Chipset, with Intel^® 915GM and 82915GM Northbridge chip, and 82801FBM (ICH6-M) Southbridge chip, providing up to 533MHz Front Side Bus (FSB) support. The motherboard supports Socket 479 CPUs including Intel^® Celeron^® M, Intel^® Core™ Solo and Pentium^® M. The on-board CPU cooling fan ensures low noise and high efficiency when the CPU is in operation.

The mini-sized motherboard enjoys excellent hardware compatibility on par with its larger-sized competitors. On the left side of the motherboard are the DDR-2 400/533 MHz memory and a pair of 240Pin DDR-2 533 memory slots. A set of PCI interface card slots are set, where a wireless network card may be installed, on the Southbridge side. Mounted behind the Mini PCI interface card are a set of IDE(ATA) Ultra ATA/100 compatible interfaces. Two sets of 1.5Gb/s SATA hard disk connectors and four sets (upgradeable to eight sets) of USB2.0 ports are also included. The motherboard power supply supports ATX, 110v - 220v AC input and 12v 7.0A DC output, providing for a stable and energy efficient system.

DS915GM-03 offers users outstanding multimedia performance. Its built-in Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 900 supports DirectX9 with display resolutions of up to 1920X1200. A set of PCI-E video adapter expansion slots are further provided to support low profile display cards for your omni-directional gaming and entertainment needs. It can also be installed in a miniature barebones system case (DS-M1) specially designed for the DS915/965GM motherboard series. While the DS915GM-03 offers extensive compatibility with a large range of display cards, it is optimised for high-end low profile display cards such as the Nvidia GEFORCE 8400GS 256M DDR3, ATI RADEON X1650 PRO 256M DDR2 and Nvidia GEFORCE 8600GT 256M DDR3. With a compatible high-resolution monitor, users will be able to experience the clarity and depth of owning their own home theatre system.

Adding to this home theatre experience is the RealtekALC880 audio processing chip integrated into the motherboard. Indulge in the earth-shaking quality of 8-channel digital audio output, which also supports hi-fi acoustics of up to 24-bit/192kHz for 2-channel purists.

The DS915GM-03 supports Windows 2000, XP, Vista & Linux SuSE 7.0+. It is a compact and complete platform for work and play, offering reliable performance in the office and for personal use.
